So it would be a 3 attack fighter not 2. And would also have eldritch blast (with 3 blasts at level 11)/hex and action surge.

You can take pact of the blade to use a great sword but then you can’t take pact of the chain which would get you the find familiar spell. Eldritch knight is the better of the two options for what you want. Personally, I’d suggest a ranger.

Fighter, assassin, or thief if you want a third subclass but I think going 9/3 bladelock with mystic scoundrel and arcane acuity sounds like a saucy take on the bard scoundrel. You get hold monster at level 9, and plenty of good options prior to that.

So i'd argue most martial classes are better off going "bladelock" for more actions. For example Paladin and Fighter both get extra attack at level 5, but they don't stack. But if you go Paladin and Warlock, you get extra attack from both of them which is huge. Ofc you still get all the spellcasting bonuses from Warlock too.On top of that you get another 2nd level spell slot. 8/4 or 9/3 if the ability the paladin get in bg3 at lvl 9 will be strong.
